The use of the GS1 GRAI and SSCC standards makes it possible to ensure non-discriminatory access within the logistics interfaces between shippers, distributors, logistics and connected partners in the value chain. This ensures maximum transparency in the supply chain.
For pickshare, circular logistics means being able to logistically bundle shipments from different consignors; we combine this interoperability on the basis of the SSCC. The GRAI as a further standard also leads to the identification of the transport containers used, e.g. as reusable transport packaging or a corresponding reusable product. In our opinion, there is also enormous potential here in the development of zero-waste strategies, for which logistics can be a key enabler.
