Sustainability measurable and communicable

Over its lifetime, the hey circle system enables a reduction of up to 94% in waste and 76% in CO₂ emissions compared to single-use cartons. Each individual bag or box is marked with a unique GRAI code. This enables the accompanying software solution to track the circulation of each container and thus accurately calculate the CO₂ emissions and costs saved. The processed data can be used directly for ESG reporting, making sustainability successes measurable and communicable.

The packaging is also economically sustainable. With 50 cycles, hey circle customers save 53% in packaging costs compared to single-use cardboard.

hey circle establishes the circular economy

With over 90 customers and thousands of packages in daily use, hey circle is establishing the circular economy as a new, economically and ecologically sensible standard in logistics. At the helm of hey circle is founder Doris Diebold, a pioneer in sustainable logistics.

The use of GS1 standards such as GTIN and GRAI enables us to clearly identify packaging and transparently record sustainability data. This makes the circular economy measurable and applicable for companies.

Who is hey circle ideal for?

The system is optimised for a wide range of logistics processes:

  1. Closed loops: Ideal for companies with predictable returns such as branch deliveries, sample shipments, rental models or equipment exchanges.
  2. Return shipping of high-quality packaging: For companies that use high-quality, protective packaging (e.g. with insulation or special inlays, e.g. for chilled food or pharmaceutical products), even empty return shipments are economically viable.

The robust and lightweight shipping boxes and bags are designed to integrate seamlessly into existing logistics processes. Their practicality has been confirmed in stress tests conducted by HTWK Leipzig and assembly line tests at Gebhardt Fördertechnik.

Innovations such as a patented folding technique to reduce volume during empty transport and storage, and an integrated anti-theft device, create additional operational value.

Hey circle also offers tailor-made solutions ranging from size and design to specific inlays and closures.
